Port Blair, Oct 31: Andaman Helping Hands, A&N Islands (AHHANI) celebrated its 08th Year Foundation Day with nice enthusiasm and zeal on twenty ninth October 2022 at Fisheries Colony, Dairy Farm.
Foundation Day is a day of remembrance, a day of honouring, a day to have fun what has been achieved over time, and a day to look ahead to what’s but to return. Today’s Foundation Day has been a milestone within the journey of the organisation which has grown from humble beginnings to its eminent standing which had Establishment on 29 Oct 2014 with a motto “LokaSamasthaSukhinoBhavantu”. In preliminary intervals the members of the AHHANI had labored in affiliation with different NGOs and later they remained a Sovereign physique and now folks can see AHHANI has emerged and touched new heights in these Isles.This Annual day celebration had scaled the head of success.
Apropos, on this present day since morning AHHANI has organised Cleanliness Drive at FLC, Junglighat from 0600 hrs to 0800 hrs. 51 volunteers have been participated and whole 34 luggage of rubbish was eliminated off from FLC Jetty, Junglighat which consisted all kind of combined rubbish like plastics supplies, Alcoholic bottles (Four luggage containing about 467 bottles), Tetra packs, Water bottles, plastic fish wastage basket and so on., Blood Donation Camp coordinated by Andaman & Nicobar AIDS management society (ANACS). 22 donors had donated blood no matter age (above 18 years) at Fisheries Jetty Hall, Junglighat from 0900 hrs to 1230 hrs alongwith felicitations to Guest of Honours who had been invited by the organisation to succeed this grand occasion and at last dinner has been organized at orphanage of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Port Blair from 2030 hrs onwards.
Throughout the occasion assist prolonged by “Allu Arjun Army Andaman (AAAA), Volunteers from Sri SaktivelMurugan Youth Club, Volunteers from Shriram Sevak, Local Fishermans, Port Blair Municipal Council (PBMC) and Directorate of RD, PRIs and ULBs”.
