A two-day coaching programme on Operations and Maintenance of Wireless Communication Network was carried out on the Government Saw Mill, Chatham, aiming to strengthen communication effectivity inside the Department of Environment and Forests, A&N Islands.
The coaching was inaugurated by Dr. Anil Kumar, IFS, Chief Conservator of Forests (Development and Utilization). In his inaugural handle, Dr. Kumar highlighted the important function of wi-fi communication in guaranteeing seamless coordination throughout the Islands, significantly in forestry operations, safety actions, and as a vital part of the National Emergency Response System.
Around 35 government and frontline employees, together with Deputy Rangers, Foresters, Head Forest Guards, and Forest Guards from numerous divisions, participated within the coaching. The programme is anticipated to reinforce the operational reliability of the wi-fi community throughout the Islands, guaranteeing uninterrupted communication help for subject actions and emergency conditions.
