Madhav Sheth Departs Realme India After 5-12 months Stint, Founder Sky Li to Oversee India Operations: Particulars

Madhav Sheth on Wednesday introduced his departure from Realme India, after 5 years on the Chinese smartphone maker. He stepped down as Realme India CEO earlier this 12 months, and was appointed Vice President for Business and Corporate Strategy (Global). Sheth joined the agency in 2018, serving to the corporate emerge as a well-liked Android smartphone model within the nation following the launch of the Realme 2. Sheth issued a press release asserting his exit and revealed that the corporate’s operations within the area will now be overseen by Founder and CEO Sky Li. 

Sheth posted a letter on Twitter stating that after discussions with Realme Founder and CEO Sky Li, it was time for him to contribute his share to the nation’s export enterprise. Sheth additionally stated he would stay a strategic advisor to Realme India for its “development strategy, global product observations, market insights, and operating suggestions.”

Last week, ET Telecom reported that Sheth was in talks with Noida-based PSAV Global, Honor’s associate in India, to assist the Chinese smartphone introduce its handsets within the nation. At the time Sheth didn’t touch upon his discussions with the agency, in accordance with the report.

While Realme India is but to formally announce his successor, Sheth said that Li would oversee Realme India’s operations within the nation. An organization spokesperson stated that Realme’s operations in India would proceed seamlessly.
