Alfa Romeo’s Valtteri Bottas was nonetheless happy to complete tenth within the Canadian Grand Prix final Sunday, regardless of giving up ninth place within the closing seconds to Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll as they crossed the end line on the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal.
“It could have been P9, but my tyres began to wear out towards the end of the race, and Lance got me on the finish line,” the 33-year-old mentioned.
Bottas began the race in 14th place on onerous tires. However, the Finn made a gradual begin which noticed him drop down two locations to sixteenth. He ultimately jumped into the highest 10 after selecting to not pit beneath the Safety Car and saved himself within the factors.
“I am pleased with our race today. I made up four positions during the race, and it’s always a good day when that happens,” Bottas added.

Valtteri Bottas Praises Alfa Romeo’s Progress
Bottas talked about that the entire workforce executed a stable race and technique. He praised the progress that Alfa Romeo remodeled the previous few races.
