In a fervent plea to the Hon’ble Minister of Road, Transport and Highways, Government of India, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament representing the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, has urged for the speedy launch of a minimal of Rs. 100 crores from the Central Road Fund. The fund, designated for highway building and upkeep, has been sought to deal with the dire highway infrastructure state of affairs within the archipelago.
