To management and inhibit the usage of tobacco in school-going youngsters, Govt. of India has launched Tobacco Control Programme and launched tips for Tobacco Free Educational Institutions (ToFEI). As part of the continued nationwide coaching, the NTCP beneath UTHM -Phase-2 organised Training of Trainers for 56 Teachers beneath BRC Wimberlygunj from twenty seventh December 2022 to ninth January 2023, within the School Campus of varied CRC beneath BRC Wimberlygunj.
The programme concluded within the presence of (I/c) Teacher, GSSS Manarghat. Mr. G. Ashis Kumar who was the useful resource individual for the coaching briefed the trainers about ToFEI Guidelines and its significance. The ToT for different CRCs of A & N Islands shall be performed in a phased method. The programme was organised beneath the supervision of Dr. Satyajit Halder, State Nodal Officer, National Tobacco Control Programme.
