Port Blair, Jan 03 The District Congress Committee (DCC) President, Mr VK Abdul Aziz and District Congress Committee, General Secretary, Mr Abhibhushan Ghosh on Sunday inaugurated the “Day and Night Cricket Championship Season 3” at Mini Stadium, Bambooflat. The event is being organized by the Youth of Bambooflat to advertise sports activities spirit within the space and supply budding skills and a possibility to come back collectively for the reason for sports activities.
Mr Aziz formally inaugurated the event. The inaugural match was performed between Jai Hind Team and Innings Stars, Ferrargunj. About 32 groups are taking part within the event.
In his tackle, Mr Aziz asserted that participation in sports activities ensures a wholesome physique and thoughts in addition to preserving the youth away from medicine. He congratulated the organizers and the taking part groups for coming along with a spectacular launch.
