A block-level coaching program on ‘Promoting Progressive Rural Entrepreneurship – Strategies in Livelihood Generation’ was organised on the CMTC Building in Ferrargunj to empower ladies leaders and foster sustainable growth in rural communities.
The initiative, which witnessed the participation of 125 people, together with elected ladies representatives, Community Resource Persons (CRPs), and members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), aimed to strengthen the position of ladies in rural governance and financial actions. The program offered sensible insights into entrepreneurship and livelihood methods, equipping contributors with the instruments to drive rural transformation.
The Block Development Officer (BDO) of Ferrargunj inaugurated the occasion, emphasizing the crucial position ladies play in shaping rural progress. “Women are pivotal in leading sustainable development and driving transformation in rural areas,” the BDO acknowledged, urging attendees to leverage the coaching to make significant impacts of their communities.

Ms. Deepa Biswas, a Domain Expert in Livelihood, targeted on ‘Sustainable Entrepreneurship Strategies for Rural Women,’ encouraging contributors to embrace innovation in enterprise ventures. Additionally, Mr. Seemon Mitra, the Branch Manager of SBI, Wimberlygunj, offered useful insights into institutional assist out there for ladies entrepreneurs, emphasising the position of economic inclusivity in rural empowerment.
