In a bid to advertise self-employment and strengthen rural livelihoods, the Veterinary Dispensary, Elephant Point, organized a chick distribution program for residents underneath the jurisdiction of Gram Panchayat Namunaghar. The occasion was held on the Panchayat Bhawan, drawing participation from native officers and group members.
The program was graced by the presence of Mr. Y. Venkateshwar, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Namunaghar, and Dr. Sanjhali Soren, Senior Veterinary Officer, Veterinary Dispensary Elephant Point. A complete of 52 chicks have been distributed to beneficiaries as a part of the initiative.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Y. Venkateshwar lauded the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services (AH&VS) for its commendable efforts in supporting yard poultry farming as a way of sustainable earnings technology. He highlighted the initiative as a major step in direction of empowering rural households and inspiring self-reliance via livestock-based livelihoods.
The distribution drive goals to encourage poultry farming on the grassroots degree, enabling residents to develop small-scale poultry ventures that contribute to each family vitamin and financial stability.
