India’s first devoted Multi-Disciplinary Sports Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities, established underneath the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, is now accepting purposes for admission to its 2025–26 batch.
The state-of-the-art centre – Atal Bihari Vajpayee Training Centre for Disability Sports in Gwalior, goals to empower Divyang athletes and promote inclusive sports activities excellence throughout the nation. It provides world-class infrastructure, skilled teaching, residential amenities, dietary assist, aggressive publicity, and help with faculty and faculty admissions for chosen para-athletes.
The upcoming choice trials shall be held from June 16 to 18, 2025, protecting six disciplines: Athletics, Badminton, Football, Table Tennis, Swimming, and Volleyball. The trials are open to athletes aged 13 to 25 years (as on June 10, 2025) who meet eligibility standards equivalent to nationwide or worldwide classification, participation, or medal achievements.
The final date to submit purposes is June 10, 2025, by publish, earlier than 5:30 PM.
