In a bid to strengthen grassroots governance by data-driven mechanisms, the Directorate of Rural Development, PRIs & ULBs, A&N Administration organized a one-day State-Level Training Programme on Panchayat Advancement Index (PAI) 2.0 on June 30, 2025. The coaching was held on the SPRC Training Hall, Marine Hill, Sri Vijaya Puram.
The programme was inaugurated by Ms. Okay.A. Prameela, Assistant Director (RD/P), who highlighted the rising significance of efficiency analysis instruments like PAI in enhancing the effectiveness and accountability of Panchayati Raj Institutions. She careworn that PAI 2.0 will function a worthwhile framework for selling transparency and evidence-based planning on the panchayat stage.
The coaching introduced collectively Block Development Officers, officers from numerous Line Departments, Panchayat Secretaries, RGSA workforce members, and workers from the Rural Development Department. Participants have been supplied with in-depth orientation on the methodology, key indicators, and implementation technique of PAI 2.0, which is designed to evaluate and benchmark Panchayat efficiency throughout essential governance and repair supply parameters.
Four knowledgeable Master Trainers led numerous technical periods in the course of the day, sharing insights and greatest practices for efficient implementation of the framework.
