Param Sundari is the subsequent large Bollywood launch. Starring Janhvi Kapoor and Siddharth Malhotra, it’s a romantic comedy drama directed by Tushar Jalota. The story is a few lady from South falling in love with a boy from North. The trailer and the songs have gotten good reception from the viewers. However, of late, there have been comparisons with Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan’s film Chennai Express. In 2013 launch, Deepika Padukone performed the position of a Tamilian who falls in liked with man named Rahul Mithaiwala performed from Shah Rukh Khan. Thus the comparability. But in a latest interview, Janhvi Kapoor has clarified on the comparability and acknowledged how her character is completely different from that of Deepika Padukone in Chennai Express.
What did Janhvi Kapoor say about comparisons between Param Sundari and Chennai Express?
In a chat with Mirchi Plus, Janhvi Kapoor shared that her character in film Param Sundari is from Kerala and is half-Malayali and half-Tamilian. She added that individuals from the South shouldn’t be grouped collectively. She was quoted saying “It’s a different milieu altogether, and it’s not like that this is a repetitive thing at all. 2 States was similar, but it came after Chennai Express, and these kinds of films aren’t being released every year. The point is people aren’t comparing us to something that needs to be forgotten, Chennai Express was an iconic film, with iconic characters and actors.”
Sidharth Malhotra shares his views on comparisons
Even Sidharth Malhotra spoke concerning the comparisons and talked about that he takes it as a praise. He stated that the Chennai Express launched 10 years in the past and Param Sundari is way completely different than Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan‘s film.

Param Sundari is about to hit the theatres this Friday, i.e., on August 29. The movie is produced by Dinesh Vijan. It is after a number of motion dramas, Sidharth Malhotra is returning to romance style with Param Sundari.
