A five-day coaching programme on Animal Birth Control (ABC) and Surgical Skill Development, organized by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services (AH&VS) in collaboration with the Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS), Goa, efficiently concluded on the Dog Sterilization Centre, Dollygunj.
The programme, held from third to seventh November, aimed to boost the sensible information and surgical proficiency of veterinary officers and supporting workers concerned within the ABC initiative throughout the Islands. It centered on enhancing expertise in canine sterilization surgical procedures, anesthesia administration, aseptic strategies, and postoperative care, selling humane and environment friendly inhabitants management of stray canines.
