The State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI RSETI), Sri Vijaya Puram, has launched a 12-day Fast Food Training Programme for Self-Help Group (SHG) girls at Campbell Bay, with the target of enhancing entrepreneurial abilities and selling self-employment alternatives within the area.
The programme was inaugurated by Assistant Commissioner, Campbell Bay, Mr. Shivam Tashi Dhawa, DANICS, who attended because the Chief Guest. Mr. E. S. Rajesh, Pramukh, Panchayat Samiti, Campbell Bay, was current because the Guest of Honour.
Among others current on the event had been Mr. Shekar Rai, Block Development Officer (BDO); Ms. Rameshwari, Pradhan, Campbell Bay Gram Panchayat; Mr. G. Venkat Rao, Pradhan, Govindnagar Gram Panchayat; and Mr. Prahlad Singh, Pradhan, Laxmi Nagar Gram Panchayat.
A complete of 35 girls from varied Self-Help Groups have enrolled within the coaching programme.
Addressing the members, Mr. Shivam Tashi Dhawa lauded the ladies for taking the initiative to improve their abilities and inspired them to make optimum use of the coaching by venturing into small meals companies similar to stalls and kiosks in public areas round Campbell Bay.
Mr. E. S. Rajesh, in his remarks, highlighted the significance of economic independence for girls and their vital position in strengthening the nation’s economic system. He additionally inspired the members to pursue entrepreneurship with dedication and attempt to grow to be “Lakhpati Didis.”
The initiative to prepare the coaching programme was undertaken by Mr. Basheer, Branch Manager of SBI, Campbell Bay Branch, as a part of ongoing efforts to advertise livelihood era and capability constructing amongst rural girls in Great Nicobar Island.
