As a part of efforts to advertise sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural practices, the Department of Agriculture, Mayabunder, in collaboration with UTATMA and Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Nimbudera, organized a two-day coaching programme on Natural Farming beneath the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) – National Mission on Natural Farming (NMNF) on the Karmatang and Webi clusters of Mayabunder on July 3 and 4.
The coaching programme centered on creating consciousness amongst farmers about pure farming strategies and equipping them with sensible data to enhance soil well being whereas decreasing dependence on chemical fertilizers.
During the technical session, Dr. Y. Ramakrishna, Head of KVK, Nimbudera, highlighted the function of pure farming in restoring soil fertility and guaranteeing long-term agricultural sustainability.
