Chelsea Green gained a five-woman ladder match at WWE SummerSlam on Sunday to grow to be the brand new Interim WWE Women’s Champion.
WWE lists the title’s official title because the Interim WWE Women’s Championship, and the bout as an Interim WWE Women’s Championship Ladder Match, per WWE’s official match web page. Cageside Seats confirmed Green because the winner of the multi-woman match.
WWE created the interim championship as a result of reigning champion Rhea Ripley was unavailable. WWE has not printed a analysis, damage description or restoration timetable for Ripley, and none is assumed right here.
Green’s win units up a future match towards Ripley as soon as she returns, although no date has been introduced. [UPDATE: when WWE confirms Ripley’s return, announces a Green–Ripley unification match, or issues any official statement on her status]
