The renovated and modernized District Library, Car Nicobar, was inaugurated by Amit Kale, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Nicobar District, within the presence of Nandini Maharaj, IAS, and Lionald Nicomede, Chairman, Tribal Council, Car Nicobar.
The modernization challenge was undertaken with help beneath the National Mission on Libraries (NML) of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, with the target of offering college students and the group with improved amenities for studying, studying and artistic growth.
The inauguration programme included an inspection of the renovated library and its upgraded amenities, together with the Musical Art Room, “CHOUK MAHAKOP TINKOOKO”. The programme was adopted by a musical presentation by college students of GSSS Lapathy.
Addressing the gathering, Amit Kale inspired college students to go to the library often, develop studying habits and make full use of the amenities and studying sources accessible.
