The Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services (AH&VS), in collaboration with UT-ATMA, organized 4 farmer-field demonstrations within the jurisdiction of Veterinary Hospital (VH), Campbell Bay, specializing in improved livestock administration and sustainable farming practices.
The demonstrations coated Brooder Management, Dairy Farm Waste Management, and the Preparation and Cultivation of Azolla, with the target of making consciousness amongst farmers and inspiring the adoption of sensible and sustainable agricultural applied sciences.
The demonstration on Brooder Management of poultry chicks was carried out on the subject of Ms. Mamta Adhikari at Gandhi Nagar. Demonstrations on Dairy Farm Waste Management have been held on the fields of Mr. Ayyappan at Gandhi Nagar and Mr. Man Singh Rawat at Shastri Nagar. The demonstration on Preparation and Cultivation of Azolla was carried out on the subject of Mr. P. Thiru Ganesan.
