The Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services (AH&VS), in collaboration with UT ATMA underneath Prothrapur Block, carried out an illustration programme on Brooder Management on the discipline of Mr. Manoj Kumar at Sippighat Village.
As a part of the programme, 120 one-day-old Vanaraja chicks had been offered to the beneficiary. The demonstration centered on important features of brooder administration, together with sustaining correct temperature, feeding and watering, hygiene, and the overall care of chicks throughout the early phases of rearing.
The programme was carried out by the Senior Veterinary Officer, Veterinary Hospital, Garacharma, with the target of selling scientific poultry-rearing practices amongst farmers and bettering the administration and survival of younger chicks.
