The Hindu Rashtra Shakti (HRS) organised a Hawan and Shiv Pujan ceremony on the Ganga Sthal / Asthi Visarjan Project on Corbyn’s Cove Road, reverse Hornbill Nest, on Saturday.
The ceremony featured Vedic chanting, Hawan, Aarti and the ceremonial unveiling of a Lord Shiva idol. The rituals had been carried out below the steerage of Pandit Mr. Ravikesh Chand.
A lot of devotees participated within the programme and provided prayers to Lord Shiva. The Shiva idol was crafted by sculptor Mr. Raghesh Shasi and his workforce from Kerala.
The programme was attended by BJP State President Mr. Anil Kumar Tiwari, Member of Parliament Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray and Senior Vice Chairperson of the Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council Mr. Okay. Vetri Velu. Ward Councillors Mr. C. Karunanidhi, Mr. Someshwar Rao and Ms. D. Radhika had been additionally current together with a number of different dignitaries and members of the local people.

Representing HRS had been State Vice President Mr. N. Venkat Ramana, State Youth Wing Vice President Mr. Rajesh Mazumdar, State General Secretary (Organisation) Mr. N. Okay. Udhaya Kumar and State President, Sainik Wing, Mr. P. V. Robin Palani Swamy. Members of the Youth Wing and Mahila Morcha additionally participated within the programme.
As a part of the occasion, two Bael (Bilva) bushes and one Shami tree had been planted by Ms. Sheela Singh, Mr. Rakeshwar Lall and Mr. Anil Kumar Tiwari.
Following the conclusion of the Pujan and Hawan, HRS members and volunteers undertook a cleanliness drive and cleaned the encompassing premises.
HRS appealed to islanders, vacationers and guests to take care of the cleanliness and sanctity of the positioning and chorus from littering. The organisation mentioned the Ganga Sthal / Asthi Visarjan Project and the Shiv Pratima Sthal have been developed below the Smart City Project and maintain significance as locations of religion and respect.
