The Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services (AH&VS) in Campbell Bay has launched a focused marketing campaign to handle the rising problem of stray cattle and canine populations within the space. This initiative is a part of the continued Animal Welfare Fortnight, a devoted interval for selling animal welfare, elevating consciousness about animal rights, and implementing measures to make sure their well-being.
As a part of the marketing campaign, the division performed a mass castration drive in Campbell Bay, efficiently castrating 5 bulls and 4 canines. The initiative goals to regulate the stray animal inhabitants humanely whereas encouraging accountable animal care practices amongst residents.
Animal Welfare Fortnight, noticed yearly, focuses on creating sustainable options for animal welfare challenges. The efforts by the AH&VS division in Campbell Bay spotlight a dedication to fostering a safer and extra compassionate setting for each animals and the area people.
Local residents have expressed their assist for the initiative, acknowledging its significance in managing stray animals ethically and successfully. The division has urged the group to actively interact in upcoming welfare packages to make sure the long-term success of such initiatives.
