She acknowledged in her case, it was not a brake as she was doing one thing that consumed her utterly. “I was so blissed-out in my duties of motherhood that I didn’t know how and when time flew by and there I was reading another script doing another film,” Ash acknowledged.

After Jazbaa, Ash appeared in three Hindi films – Sarbjit, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Fanney Khan. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s final film was Tamil movie Ponniyin Selvan, which launched in 2023. The actress hasn’t signed any new film since then. She additionally hasn’t signed any Hindi film after her 2018 film, Fanney Khan.
