Actor Govinda tragically misplaced his longtime secretary, Shashi Sinha, on March 6. According to preliminary reviews, Shashi breathed his final at 4 pm at his residence in Mumbai’s Niranjan Society. For many years, Shashi was actor’s trusted aide. According to reviews, Govinda rushed to Shashi’s residence on being informed about his dying. The actor was visibly shaken and instantly visited the household to increase emotional help throughout this troublesome time.
If reviews are to be believed, the funeral is predicted to happen tonight round 10 pm. Recently, amid rumours suggesting that Govinda and his spouse Sunita Ahuja are heading for divorce, Govinda’s supervisor Shashi had addressed the scenario. According to a report in ETimes, he mentioned, “There have been issues between the couple due to certain statements made by certain members from the family. There is nothing more to it and Govinda is in process of starting a film for which artists are visiting our office. We are trying to resolve it.”
Shashi remained a steadfast help for Govindathrough all of the ups and downs. When producer Praveen Khanna, who’s married to Govinda’s sister Kamini Khanna, held him culpable for bodily abuse, Shashi had come ahead with an announcement, “Yeh insaan (Khanna) jooth bol raha hai. He is the one who started abusing Govinda and accused him of cheating.”
In October 2024, Govinda by accident shot his leg when the revolver misfired. He was leaving to catch a morning flight when he by accident shot himself. Even at the moment, Shashi had knowledgeable media via an announcement, “Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda was getting ready to leave for Kolkata. He was keeping his licensed revolver in the cupboard when it fell from his hand and a bullet got fired which hit his leg. The doctor has removed the bullet and his condition is fine. He is in the hospital right now.”
The actual reason for Shashi’s dying hasn’t been decided but. Govinda and his members of the family have but to make a public assertion relating to the loss.
