The police on Thursday arrested former Andaman and Nicobar chief secretary Jitendra Narain in a gang rape case.
The sufferer’s lawyer, Phatick Chandra Das, mentioned Mr. Narain was arrested after his anticipatory bail software was rejected by a neighborhood courtroom.
