The Chairman of the Campaign Committee of the Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC), Mr. TSG Bhasker, has raised critical considerations over the acute scarcity of workers on the Blood Bank of G.B. Pant Hospital in Port Blair.
In a letter addressed to the Director of Health Services, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr. Bhasker highlighted that the shortage of technical and help personnel is severely affecting the each day functioning of the blood financial institution. He identified that routine procedures equivalent to blood assortment, screening, part separation, and well timed issuance of blood items are being delayed in consequence.
“Even emergency services during night hours are severely hampered due to lack of medical personnel,” Mr. Bhasker famous within the letter.

Urging the administration to behave swiftly, Mr. Bhasker referred to as upon the Health Department to take rapid and decisive steps to resolve the staffing disaster on a precedence foundation.
