Andaman and Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee on Friday held protest at Little Andaman to oppose the conviction of Rahul Gandhi by a Surat Court in a defamation case.
The protest at Little Andaman was led by Mr. Rangalal Halder, ANTCC President and Mr. TSG Bhasker, Campaign Committee Chairman, ANTCC. Congress leaders alleged that BJP was selectively focusing on Mr. Rahul Gandhi to divert consideration from the Adani Scam.
The congress leaders raised slogans towards BJP in the course of the protest and pledged help for Rahul Gandhi.
Chairman, Adivasi Congress Mr. Sebastian Tirkey, BCC President, R.K Pur, Mr. Gopal Saha, TCC Member, Mrs. Deepa Baul, Pradhan, R.K Pur, Mrs. Sangeeta Biswas, Congress leaders Mr. Atul Kumar Biswas, Mr. Alok Biswas, Mr. Swapan Saha and Mr. Glok Biswas amongst others participated within the protest.
