The Andaman and Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC) commemorated the delivery anniversary of Bharat Ratna Late Ok. Kamaraj, a revered freedom fighter, former Chief Minister of Madras, and previous President of the Indian National Congress, with a solemn floral tribute ceremony held at his statue at Dairy Farm Junction.
Led by ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder and Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. TSG Bhasker, the occasion witnessed the participation of a number of Congress leaders and employees who gathered to honor Kamaraj’s enduring legacy. His vital contributions to schooling reform and public welfare have been remembered with reverence.
Among those that attended the ceremony have been Mr. Ok. Ganeshan, Chief Spokesperson, ANTCC; Mr. Abdul Shabir, Treasurer, ANTCC; Mr. John Robert Babu, District President; Mr. Chamba Shanmugam, Congress Leader; Mr. M. Vikram, Youth Congress Leader; Mr. Akshay, Joint Secretary of Seva Dal, together with different celebration members and supporters.
The program concluded with celebration leaders reiterating their dedication to upholding Kamaraj’s beliefs of inclusive growth and social justice, vowing to proceed working in direction of a progressive and equitable society.
