The Indian Army examined a BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from the Andaman and Nicobar (A&N) Islands earlier right now (29 November).
An extended-range model of the missile was examined by the Western Command of the Army, the A&N command, the one tri-services command of the Indian Army, mentioned in a submit on Twitter.
Earlier this month, India had issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), indicative of a missile take a look at, for 29 November and 1 December.
The no-fly zone notified for the take a look at means that the variant of the missile examined right now can hit targets at a spread of 450 km or extra.
