After former NBA participant and host of the Old Man and the Three Podcast JJ Redick took to First Take to eviscerate his former head coach Doc Rivers for the Bucks 3-7 begin since taking up the Milwaukee Bucks, saying he has didn’t take accountability for essentially the most half.
Austin Rivers got here to the protection of his father, after JJ Redick scorched him.
“For someone who’s not accountable, he seems to always be held responsible,” Austin Rivers mentioned. “I have some love for JJ. You’re my Dukie; you’re my bro. I love you.”
He then added that Redick, who was Rivers’ teammate whereas they had been on the Los Angeles Clippers collectively, had his greatest years beneath Doc in LA and questioned why he would assault his father.
Austin Rivers added, “your best years in the NBA were when you played for him and the Clippers. Let’s not forget that. I don’t know if there’s frustration there or there’s tension between you.”
“I know a lot of the time we had to sit you at the end of the game due to defense … it’s just very ironic and kind of weird that you have this energy toward him, in terms of him never, ever being accountable considering he was always responsible,” Rivers mentioned.

Both Redick and the youthful Rivers performed beneath Doc and the Clippers. Redick performed for 4 seasons there, whereas Austin would be part of the workforce afterward in Doc’s tenure as coach of the Clippers.
Doc’s son will not be the one participant to come back to his protection. Milwaukee Bucks backup level guard took to X, previously often known as Twitter, to defend his head coach.
“This Man Doc actually saved your career,” Beverley responded on social media. “Started you when no one else wanted 2. And you retire , go on TV and say that. @jj_redick.”
JJ then clapped again saying, “Pat my guy I had a four year offer with a player option for the same money to be a starter for a different team. FOH ‘saved my career.'”

Rivers’ time in Milwaukee has been tough since being employed as the brand new head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks. He was employed mid-season after the Bucks fired Adrian Griffin.
Despite having two of the perfect gamers within the league, Rivers has struggled and thus the workforce has dropped from second within the East to 3rd going into the All-Star break.
