The Australian males’s nationwide basketball staff, also referred to as the Australian Boomers, has introduced its NBA-studded roster, which can compete within the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
The squad options 12 gamers, 9 with NBA expertise and eight who performed within the league final season, together with a number of stars from the native league NBL.
The NBA expertise consists of Josh Giddey, Josh Green, Dante Exum, Jock Landale, Duop Reath, Dyson Daniels, Patty Mills, and Joe Ingles, together with former Cavaliers guard Matthew Dellavedova, who now performs within the NBL.
The squad will likely be rounded off by Jack McVeigh and Will Magnay, each members of the reigning NBL Champions Tasmania JackJumpers, and former NBL MVP Nick Kay.

The Boomers goal to win a medal for the second consecutive Olympics after securing bronze within the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, held in 2021 as a result of COVID-19 pandemic.
Several notable omissions from the Australian Boomers
Despite the roster being loaded with NBA expertise, a number of notable omissions from Australia’s Olympic squad stunned followers.
Portland Trail Blazers guard Matthew Tybulle, a member of the 2020 Olympic squad in Tokyo, was notably omitted of the roster, doubtlessly impacting the staff’s protection.
Other Australian Boomers mainstays, reminiscent of Chris Goulding and Xavier Cooks, have been additionally not included within the squad for Paris.
