The National Helpline for Senior Citizens (NHSC), in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services, organized an Ayushman Bharat Card drive at Abhyudaya Old Age Home, Sri Vijaya Puram, South Andaman on twenty fourth January 2025. The initiative aimed to facilitate the e-card era course of for aged residents, guaranteeing their entry to high quality healthcare below the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
During the camp, the NHSC group, with the help of the Directorate of Health Services, efficiently generated Ayushman Bharat e-cards for over 70 aged males residing on the previous age residence. The beneficiaries, aged 70 and above, obtained their well being playing cards, enabling them to avail free medical therapy as much as ₹5 lakhs below the Ayushman Vaya Vandana scheme. The aged residents expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the NHSC group and the Directorate of Health Services for his or her efforts in bringing this important healthcare initiative to their doorstep.
