Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller has opened up in regards to the problematic 2023 season he had coming off a serious damage.
The eight-time Pro Bowl choice returned lower than a 12 months after tearing his proper ACL throughout Week 12 of the 2022 season towards the Detroit Lions.
“I could have easily sat out all of last season, but I couldn’t do my teammates like that. I felt like being later in my career, I didn’t want to sacrifice any of my years. But at the same time, I shouldn’t have been out there,” the 35-year-old admitted.
Regarded as the most effective move rushers of all time, Miller returned throughout Week 5 of the 2023 season. He struggled for the remainder of the marketing campaign and solely performed 12 video games.
“I feel like people are judging me on that, so it’s making me a little bit angry, to be honest. It’s making me tap into a Von that I haven’t been in a while,” the Super Bowl 50 MVP added.
Von Miller reveals targets for the 2024 NFL season
Miller revealed his plans to bounce again from his dreadful 2023 marketing campaign, through which he managed simply two solo tackles and one help within the least productive season of his profession.
“I just want to get back to playing my style of football. Get back to talking s**t, f**king making sacks, dancing, and making plays for my teammates. That’s been my whole mindset this offseason,” the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team member said.
The three-time First-Team All-Pro has loads of time to redeem himself, as he’s underneath contract with the Bills till the top of the 2027 NFL season.
