In a collaborative effort, Nehru Yuva Kendra Rangat, Desh Bondhu Youth Club, and Netaji Yuba Samiti Billiground organized a Block Level Sports occasion on 1st February 2025 on the Billiground playground. The occasion, held underneath the theme “Swasth Rashtra – Samradh Rashtra,” aimed to advertise bodily health and psychological well-being by way of sports activities.
The occasion was graced by a number of dignitaries, with Mr. Manojit Halder, Pradhan of Harinagar Gram Panchayat, serving because the chief visitor. Mr. Shankar Mondal, Zilla Parisad Member, was the visitor of honor, and Mr. Dilip Kumar Das, one other Zilla Parishad Member, was additionally current to witness the occasion.
The Block Level Sports featured quite a lot of aggressive occasions. Group competitions included Men’s Volleyball and Women’s Tug of War. Individual occasions for males included the 4x100m Relay Race and the 200m Race, whereas girls competed within the 100m Race and Shot Put.
The winners of the occasions have been awarded prizes by the chief visitor and different dignitaries. Notably, the winners will transfer on to characterize the block on the upcoming District Level Sports Meet, as highlighted by Mr. Sukharanjan Biswas, Deputy Director (OSD).
