The Cleveland Browns might need to go ahead within the 2023-24 NFL season with Deshaun Watson on the sidelines.
Watson is coping with a rotator cuff contusion, per Tom Pelisssero of the NFL Network.

Already dominated out for Week 6 when the Browns face the San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland followers received extra unhealthy information after Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reported that the 28-year-old play-caller may miss extra video games.
The Browns are treating Watson’s damage with warning and won’t get him again into the sphere till he can throw usually and with out ache.

Watson incurred the shoulder damage of their Week 3 victory, 27-3, towards the Tennessee Titans final September 24. This was after Titans security Amani Hooker tackled him, per NFL.com.
The three-time Pro Bowler missed their Week 4 task, a loss to the Baltimore Ravens, 28-3.
Stefanski turns to P.J. Walker
With Watson unavailable, Browns coach Kevin Stefanski will lean on P.J. Walker for quarterbacking duties. He is scheduled to begin for Cleveland towards San Francisco on Sunday, October 15, the Associated Press reported.
“I’ve been there before,” stated Walker, who put himself on the radar of NFL groups by starring within the XFL. “We’ve been there before. It’s going to be what it’s going to be. So, for me, it’s nothing that we can control. That’s what the outside noise is. So for us, we’re gonna go out there and prove them wrong on Sunday.”
Against the Ravens, Stefanski tried out Dorian Thompson-Robinson. The transfer proved expensive, with the rookie throwing three interceptions in that loss. The Browns are hoping to carry out higher with Walker.
