Cody Rhodes has hinted on his retirement.
While it doesn’t appear it is going to occur anytime quickly, the two-time Undisputed WWE Champion has given followers a timeframe as to when it might occur.

According to Sportskeeda, Rhodes talked about retiring throughout his look on ESPN’s “UNSPORTSMANLIKE.”
While speaking in regards to the current retirements that happened inside WWE, resembling John Cena and AJ Styles, Rhodes touched on his personal retirement.
“Wrestler prime is right where we’re at right now, in terms of your ability to put that promo together and to put that match together,” mentioned Rhodes. “I don’t have that end date like I used to.”
He added, I do know that regardless of the subsequent deal that I signal with WWE, I ain’t going nowhere, that subsequent deal would be the final.”
It is not immediately clear when Rhodes’ current deal with WWE will expire, and how long he plans his last deal to last.
Elimination Chamber 2026
Rhodes is set to participate in the upcoming Elimination Chamber event, which will take place on February 28 in Chicago.
Rhodes will be part of the men’s Elimination Chamber match alongside Randy Orton, Jey Uso, LA Knight, Je’Von Evans, and Trick Williams.
The winner of this match will go up against Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42, which will be held in Las Vegas.
Roman Reigns, who won the 2026 Royal Rumble previously chose to go compete for the World Heavyweight Championship, which is currently held by CM Punk.
