Port Blair, Dec 06: The Pradesh Congress Committee at present organised Chakka Jams at varied locations of Middle and North Andaman comparable to Baratang, Rangat, Mayabunder, Diglipur and so forth to press 4 main calls for, that are early completion of NH4, 100% job reservation for Islanders, Opening of Quarries in North and Middle Andaman and allotment of funds for PRIs.
PCC President, Mr. Rangalal Halder led the protest at Mayabunder whereas Mr. G Bhasker, Chairman Campaign committee led the protest at Diglipur.
During the Protest at Mayabunder, the Assistant Commissioner and different officers of District Administration reached the spot and tried to persuade the protester. Mr.Rangallal Halder, President PCC demanded to unravel theseissues as early as doable or else he stated that the Congress celebration will organise even larger protests throughout Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
