The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday predicted widespread mild or reasonable rainfall over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on December 4 and 5 as a result of formation of a cyclonic circulation. The IMD stated the cyclonic circulation is more likely to emerge within the South Andaman sea round December 4, which could lead to a Low-Pressure Area over the southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining south Andaman Sea across the similar time.
