The National Action Plan for Skill Development of Persons with Disabilities (NAP-SDP) is a devoted ability growth program aimed toward offering high-quality vocational coaching for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). The major goals of this scheme are to reinforce the abilities of PwDs by means of high quality vocational coaching, enabling them to achieve significant employment, and to empower them to turn out to be self-reliant and contributing members of society.
The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) has introduced a revision of its Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for NAP-SDP. This revision goals to streamline the method of participating Government and Non-Government Organizations in offering ability coaching to PwDs, guaranteeing higher effectivity and transparency in this system’s implementation.
Interested Government and Non-Government Organizations are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EoI) or Project Specific Proposal (PSP) by means of the PM-DAKSH-DEPwD portal. The coaching packages should be aligned with the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) and accredited by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET).
For additional data, the rules of the NAP-SDP scheme, together with the revised SOP, can be found on the official web site: https://depwd.gov.in. (Story Based on PR)
