Dhairya NGO based mostly in Sri Vijaya Puram, has written to the Superintending Engineer of the Electricity Department elevating critical considerations over employee security, following the tragic demise of Mr. Lazarus Kerketta, a Regular Mazdoor who died after falling from an electrical pole whereas on responsibility.

– Regular security coaching and briefings for subject employees
– Compensation and assist for the household of the deceased
– Consideration of a compassionate appointment for a member of the family
– An intensive investigation into the incident to find out any negligence
Calling for swift and compassionate motion, the NGO emphasised that “the safety and dignity of every worker must be upheld as a priority.”
