In a proactive step towards enhancing catastrophe preparedness, the Directorate of Industries carried out a complete mock drill simulating an earthquake and tsunami situation at its workplace premises in Udyog Parisar, Middle Point, Sri Vijaya Puram, on Wednesday. The train was a part of the Directorate’s second-quarter (2025–26) catastrophe administration actions.
The drill aimed to evaluate the readiness and response capabilities of workers and related emergency providers within the occasion of a pure catastrophe. It started with a table-top train led by Mr. Mohd.
