Los Angeles Dodgers beginning pitcher Julio Urias has been arrested and charged with felony home violence late Sunday night, in accordance with MLB insider Jeff Passan of ESPN.
The alleged incident occurred within the car parking zone of the BMO Stadium after Urias and others attended a Major League Soccer match between Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami and Los Angeles FC, and the Dodgers pitcher was arrested earlier than midnight.
The 27-year-old was launched early Monday at 4:47 a.m. after posting a $50,000 bond. He may have a court docket date on September 27.
The Los Angeles Dodgers launched an announcement on X, previously Twitter, saying that they’re conscious of the incident involving Urias.
“While we attempt to learn all the facts, he will not be traveling with the team. The organization has no further comment at this time,” the assertion learn additional. The MLB can also be investigating the incident.
Urias will miss the following highway video games from Wednesday via the weekend towards the Miami Marlins and Washington Nationals.

Not the primary home violence incident for Urias
The two-time All-MLB Second Team was beforehand arrested outdoors a Los Angeles mall in May 2019 for home battery. Charges had been later dropped when the lady claimed she fell by herself after the pitcher was accused of pushing her.
Urias was nonetheless suspended for 20 video games by the MLB for violating their Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Child Abuse Policy.
