Ek Nazar Self Help Group has organised the Challenger’s Trophy 2K23 a T10 Night Cricket League at GP Mithakhari Ground. Altogether 35 groups are taking part within the Night Cricket League. Gram Panchayat Mithakhari is supporting the SHG in organising the Night Cricket Tournament.
The Tournament has been organised to advertise sports activities and to create consciousness on the ailing results of using Drugs and Alcohol. The Tag Line of the Tournament is ‘Say Yes to Cricket and No to Drugs’.
The opening ceremony of the match was organised on 14th January 2023. Mr. Tej Bahadur, Superintendent Engineer, APWD was the Chief Guest on the event. Mr. Gautam Sarkar, EE (E&M), APWD, Mr. Subba Raj, EE, RCD, APWD and Mr. Ramanand Bala, EE, PRI had been the Guests of Honour on the event.
Mr. Mohammed Safiq, Pradhan, GP Mithakhari whereas addressing the gathering throughout the opening ceremony of the match appreciated the organisers for organising the match to create consciousness in society in regards to the ailing results of medicine. Mr. Safiq additionally spoke in regards to the significance of selling sports activities. Mr. Mohammed Safiq additionally appreciated the youth for inviting the hardworking engineering workers of APWD and PRI as Chief Guests on the event of the opening ceremony of the match.
