McLaren has secured prized rookie driver Oscar Piastri on a long-term deal that may see him drive the papaya-colored automobile till the tip of the 2026 F1 season, on the very least.

Piastri takes a dig at Alpine
After McLaren’s announcement of his new deal, the Australian driver took to X, previously Twitter, to hit again at his former staff, Alpine, the place he served as a reserve driver in 2022.
In August 2022, Alpine notably introduced that Piastri would drive for them in 2023. However, the youthful racer rapidly denied these claims, saying that the staff launched the press launch with out his settlement and he would not be driving for the French outfit.
