The ice plant and chilly storage facility, although operational, is just not functioning correctly as a result of technical points, severely impacting the livelihood of the fishing neighborhood in Great Nicobar. Fishermen are struggling to protect their catch effectively, resulting in monetary losses, and their every day fishing actions are being hindered as a result of insufficient manufacturing of ice.
