Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, District Programme Coordinator (Deputy Commissioner, SA), MGNREGA, South Andaman District laid basis stone for the work ‘Construction of Two Layers WBM road from Domnic Ekka house to Ram Mandir via UP Tikeri under Sippighat Gram Panchayat’ within the presence of Sr. Programme Officer (BDO), MGNREGA, C.D Block Prothrapur, the Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Sippighat, Zilla Parishad Member, Samiti Member, MGNREGA Officials, Revenue Officials, Ward member and the MGNREGA beneficiaries (Villagers).
The whole estimated value of the work is Rs 14,43,228/- with an estimated 1210 (approx) Man Days. The street was an extended pending demand of the villagers of the Gram Panchayat. The work will profit round 180 villagers. It is the primary pilot undertaking which is sanctioned and being executed within the subject with materials part beneath MGNREGA, South Andaman District. Procurement of fabric for the mentioned undertaking was finalised by means of the GeM Portal.
