As a part of the continuing initiatives underneath the Atal Vayo Abhuday Yojna, the Directorate of Social Welfare, in collaboration with Brahma Kumaris, organized a Basic Health and Wellness Programme for senior residents at Ullas Home in Attampahad.
The programme targeted on selling wholesome and energetic ageing by providing insights into bodily wellness, psychological well being, and stress administration. Sister Sharmistha from the Brahma Kumaris carried out an interesting session on sustaining psychological well-being, emphasizing the significance of emotional, psychological, and social care in day-to-day life. She additionally led a yoga and meditation session to assist members undertake holistic practices for improved high quality of life.
The occasion was coordinated by Ms. Monalisa Biswas, Supervisor, and Ms. Archana B. Nair, In-charge of Ullas Home for Senior Citizens, underneath the general steerage of Ms. Reeta Devi, Nodal Officer (Senior Citizen), Directorate of Social Welfare.
The initiative was well-received by the Senior Citizens, who actively participated within the periods and appreciated the efforts made to reinforce their total well-being.
