On twelfth December 2022, Health Meals have been carried out at varied Health and Wellness Centres all through Car Nicobar Island. The theme of Health Mela was ‘Universal Health Coverage for All’.
The Health Mela at Health and Wellness Centre (HWC) Kinyuka was organised by CHO Mrs. Deepika Victoria, at HWC Mus by CHO Mrs. Sakrika, at HWC Arong by ANM (In-Charge) Mrs. Sabiha, at HWC Sawai by CHO Mrs. Lakshmi, at HWC Teetop by CHO Mrs. Tapati , at HWC Kakana by CHO Mrs. Sushila and at HWC Big Lapathi by Mrs. Kishori.
During the Health Mela, all Health and Wellness Centres in Car Nicobar carried out screening of Diabetes and Hypertension in sufferers. The screening was additionally carried out for different Non-Communicable Diseases. ABHA IDs have been additionally created for the villagers through the well being camp.
Yoga demonstration was organised by the Yoga Instructor.
