Directorate of RD, PRIs & Urban Local Bodies via Order No. 37 dated 06th January 2023 has revised the speed of Honorarium for the Elected Members of the Panchayati Raj Institutions of Andaman and Nicobar Islands with impact from 01st of July 2023.

Now Under Zilla Parishads, the Adhyaksha will obtain an Honorarium of Rs. 9769/- per Month, Up-Adhyaksha – Rs. 7813/- per Month, Chairman Committee – Rs. 6838/- per Month and Member of Zilla Parishad – Rs. 5863/- per Month.

Under varied Panchayat Samitis, the Pramukh will obtain an Honorarium of Rs. 7813/- per Month, Up-Pramukh – Rs. 5863/- per Month, Chairman Committee – Rs. 5375/- per Month and Member of Panchayat Samiti – Rs. 4888/- per Month.

Under varied Gram Panchayats, the Pradhan will obtain an Honorarium of Rs. 5863/- per Month, Up-Pradhan – Rs. 4888/- per Month, Sarpanch – Rs. 4888/- per Month, Up-Sarpanch – Rs. 4300/- per Month and Members of Gram Panchayat – Rs. 3519/- per Month.

Honorariums for varied posts below totally different Panchayati Raj Institutions have been revised after 05 years.
