Despite the valiant efforts of Iowa star guard Caitlin Clark, the Hawkeyes fell to the South Carolina Gamecocks within the NCAA Women’s National Championship sport, 87-75. Lisa Bluder, head coach of the Iowa Hawkeyes, had some harsh, but comporting phrases in her post-game press convention.
Lisa Bluder said, “it kinda makes me a double loser right now, quite honestly. It’s tough, but I know how hard it is to get here, too. I say that tongue in cheek because I know it’s really, really difficult to get to a Final Four.”
