In a transfer to encourage sports activities and nurture athletic expertise amongst tribal youth, the Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP), Car Nicobar, distributed 15 skilled biking skinsuits to tribal trainees present process teaching below the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Car Nicobar.
The distribution ceremony, held yesterday at Car Nicobar, was presided over by Mr. Amit Kale, IAS, Deputy Commissioner (Nicobar), who handed over the skinsuits to the beneficiaries. Addressing the younger athletes, Mr. Kale urged them to attempt for excellence and convey laurels to the islands by showcasing their expertise in national-level competitions.
The occasion was additionally attended by the Project Officer (ITDP) / Assistant Commissioner (HQ), Car Nicobar, together with the SAI Coach.
This initiative underscores ITDP Nicobar’s continued efforts to establish and assist promising younger athletes, promote participation in aggressive sports activities, and foster a spirit of health, self-discipline, and achievement among the many tribal communities of the Nicobar District.
